# 138 Swiss Alps and Tree - Brach, Switzerland
One of the rules of photography is to keep your camera out on bad weather days. This day in Switzerland was dreary with intermittent rain and low clouds that for the most part obscured the Alps from view. I am always on the lookout for “the” shot and as I drove by this scene, something clicked in my mind and I turned around and went back. The light was very subtle with the mountain in the background fading in and out of subdued sunlight. The foreground provided delightfully flowing lines and the overall composition and mood complemented each other very nicely. I spent 45 wonderfully peaceful minutes working this scene. Looking at this tranquil scene should comfort any soul in this troubled, changing world. Remember, keep that camera going in “bad” light.
