# 116 - Coyote Gulch waterfall: Escalante National Monument, Utah
This waterfall drops about 15 feet in a horseshoe shape much like a shower stall. If you wait till about 4:00 PM the sun warms the water to a nice temperature and if you stand in the center of the fall, the water will pound out the aches in your shoulders from your backpack. The sandstone wall beyond stands sentinel in the reflected late afternoon light.
