# 103 - Coyote Natural Bridge, Escalante National Recreation Area
This desert canyon located on the west side of Lake Powel is very special because it features year round water. The sandstone wall has been undercut by the water and the enchanting portal invites the explorer in us all to enter the new world on the other side. Notice how the water in shadow of the bridge reflects the three main colors of the canyon - orange from the sandstone, green from the foliage, and blue from the sky. I used the computer to slightly lighten the darkly shadowed left hand side of the bridge. No other changes were made.
