# 127 - Mt. Moran over Heron Pond, Tetons
Heron Pond can be reached by a short walk from the Colter Bay area off Jackson Lake. Many different varieties of wildlife frequent the waters of this pond. The day I was there I saw, elk, muskrat, herons, geese, pelicans, and as if that were not enough, TWO brown bears. In fact the two bears both appear in this scene.
